I joined the council on the same meeting Aishan was elected as chieftain, taking his spot in the council. Before that I had been brave for few months.
The tribe itself I joined 26th of September, 2005, after being part of Cult of the Void for a short time. Hence, if I got it right, Pride, Aroh and I are the "oldest" members remaining. Or well, if you count spirit Myrha of course.

Well.... I joined the tribe 15 sept but was gone between the 21 sept and the 26 oct. During that time I was removed by Nemal but reinstated when I returned. I was never a prominent tribe member, that is elder, until I got this unexpected promotion.
I was introduced to the tribe by Chotawak

Oh yes, true. I also confused Morgush and Massaimah… two possessed loonies beginning with an 'M'. :-) Morgush has gotten better since, of course. I think also Reena was in the council at some point, eh? Joined and left during Tunril's reign, did she?
Any other pivotal moments we should record, besides the leadership changes?

Hmm... possibly the more "important" events the tribe attended/did?
Big RP events? PvP events?
etc etc.

Added some of the later events. Screenshots are a great way to carbon-date past happenings, by the way.

Morgush's last name is Stonehoof, isn't Tunril's last name Sandmane? Or did he change it?

He changed it. If I got it right, he changed it *back* to Sandmane.

Stoneback was always more of a call/nickname of Tunril. Sandmane was the name of his old, now extinct tribe.

Posting bit late here perhaps...
But yes, I never was official chieftain of the tribe. It was more of an OOC-deal with Ironhoof to ensure that someone would handle the guild stuff, as our other officers had habits on leaving mid RP-event to play squash or go get drunk ( *pokes*)
The Gnomish Liberation Front thingie happened when I was acting chieftain, and I did give up on the position week or 2 later. Did not have any alts at that point, barring Nagur, who was my original character there. But after I got rid off the duties I had to do, I did roll Zametha, and eventually disappear from the Tribe.
As for the voting goes, I was rather certain that people would elect me on the voting, and decided to step down. So, I didn´t actively seek the position. Funny how it goes, Burning Dawn is the second guild I lead "by accident".
Anyway, the reason I actually posted here is the origin of the name Mistrunner and their connection to the Tribe. Didn´t see it anywhere here, so might as well post it. ( Ultra-short version of it.)
Mistrunner Tribe name got it´s origins from the Mistrunners living at Thunder Bluff. Myrha was abandoned by her parents on young age, and the Mistrunners adopted her. This lead to the strong emphasis of relationship that the Tribe had on early period, even if Myrha herself was in no way related to the name she used. Myrha wanted to thank her adopted family by naming the Tribe after them, and thus Mistrunner Tribe was born.
The story is made up by Pride, and has nothing related to Myrha ( as played by Gurnek), but most of the Mistie lore is that way. Anyway, that is the explanation we used during my evil reign for the background of name. Also using and changing the story is not disallowed in any sense. Best stories evolve anyway
Also, everyone HAD to use the surname Aonahe on the beginning of the Tribe, this was Gurnek´s OOC-idea for the Tribe, but this habit got old fast ( and good that it got, bit restrictive idea for non-premade guild). Some used the Aonahe title for long though, and I believe it still used as word, but not on the sense it originally was used.
For the first councilors, I´m rather sure Earthshaker was the third one, we had to Earth-somethings on Tribe back then though, so can´t be sure. Also rather sure there was 4th councilor back then, some female druid who recruited Nemal. ( or everyone had invite rights back then...)
I had some other random facts as well, and might fill in later

Ah yes, Earthshaker, and the other female druid was Malicia who was a genuine idiot who got left later when we didnt elect her for leader.

Thanks for the memoirs! I hope to get around to consolidating them into the history post up there in the beginning of the thread.
Hope you had a fun Christmas!

'Lo there.
Aonahe is basically the (ancient?) Taurahe word for Mistrunner - Chotawak proposed it and I thought it was a good idea. Another councilor was Ugjara if I am not mistaken.

Oi! Who let that cow out?
A comment to the chronology. I left for my hermity trip before Prabhu was made elder. I was under the impression Massaimah left around the same time too.

Actually Maahe, that's a good point. When was the first time we raided together, and what kind of IC communication has there been between the Tribe and Dawn about the raiding alliance?
