I think that the use of the word "argument" has created some misunderstandings here. While I have no way to be sure and this is only my opinion, I think Morgush meant actual fighting when he wrote that arguments should be done in whispers or in party chats. I certainly don't understand it as forbidding polite disagreements and conversations where people argue different sides. It just when people really start to get angry at each other, it might be better to have those arguments in more private channels.
Of course, and this is just the worst case scenario, being really rude to another guild member in private channels is just about as bad as in public channels. I hope and believe this never happens, but please - if you feel that someone in the guild is really misbehaving against you (especially in whispers where others can't see), take screen shots of the whole conversation (and not just the insults) and show them to the chieftain and/or the elders. I again stress that I really don't believe this will be a problem, but it never hurts to know what to do in such a situation.
