She groaned as she stood up, her old body not agreeing with getting out of bed today. Muttering to herself, she nibbled on some bread, trying to stretch her back a bit, cracking sounds could be heard.
After having had an unlucky accident a couple of years ago in Alterac Valley, she'd been unable to participate in much of the war that's been raging. Which annoyed her deeply, especially since the portal to Outland had been opened again. And as truly was said, she didn't cope too well with these things.
Why'd they have to open that stupid gate anyway? Don't they see we're only losing younglings on this..?
And due to her rather... Grumpy nature, her former chieftain had thought it was a good idea for her to retire a while ago, of which she whole-heartedly disagreed, and had walked out in an outrage. And only lately had she realised that a tribe is something you need, not just because you need a family, but because the world doesn't work that easily when you're an elderly Tauren on your own.
For a while after she had left had left her former tribe, she had been volunteering with the Frostowlf, healing their wounded, and giving spiritual counsel. Then the accident happened, and her right hip was more or less disabled.
Only recently has she gotten back on her hooves, walking ( for the most part) without a stick.
Having had not that much to do, the old Shaman had been residing in the new çapital'of the Tauren, Thunder Bluff, and not having had much to do, studying life there has been her main activity for the past two years.
To her attention had sprung the ups and downs of the Aonahe. However sinister things had looked for them, they had always pulled up, and made it through. Their current chieftain, young Shieldheart, fought for the Tribe with all his might and spirit.
She figured it was worth a shot, they might even let her be a part of their Tribe. She missed it, being a part of something, something more graspable than just being one of the Horde. Something you could touch and feel, like a Tribe.
She knew she had a short temper, especially when it came to Younglings, but it just might be what she needed to find her place in the Shu'Halo society again. Some sort of challenge.
