Congratulations on the win against the Finns. I read they scored no less than two own goals?!

Aye, two clear own goals (though if they didn't push the ball into their goal, our attackers would have done that). And even on the 3rd goal, after a great breakthrough by Arshavin, the last touch was still of a defender, though that can't be named an own goal.

That last goal immediately reminded me of one of the most classic Michael Laudrup goals, from one of the most classic matches by a Danish national team ever, the 6-1 win against Uruguay at the 1986 World Cup in Mexico - www.youtube.com/watch?v=vn0PS85pvqw

Aye, quite a similar goal. I just want that Michael Laudrup turns up as good a coach as he was a player... And the sooner the better. So far the few matches Spartak has played under his leadership are not that good. But the team is new for him, and he came mid-season... That stupid thing of sacking coaches mid-season has become a bad habit of Spartak. It will be really hard to make it to 09/10 champions league now.

Yeah, I hope he'll do good, but I just can't see it working out there to be honest. His mentality isn't right for it, I think. He did mention a few weeks back that the russian players aren't listening very well to the ideas he serves. He ought to be somewhere in Spain or Italy coaching, where he feels comfortable and speaks the language.

Spanish seems to be becoming the primary language of Spartak Laudrup speaks Spanish at press ocnferences, he uses Spanish to discuss things with his assistant, Russian ex-international Igor Ledyakhov (who then translates that to players), he uses Spanish to speak with Karpin, the new sporting director of Spartak, and the new physical coach is also a Spaniard. Oooh! Spanish mafia Maybe they'll accept me as well?

Oh well. Spartak finished in the 8th place this year, and we have to win the Russian Cup if we are to be in UEFA next year. And today Mr Laudrup has a chance to do something in Europe. Versus Dinamo Zagreb. Those matches with various european Dinamos are fun because our fans have all songs and insults ready from the battles with league rivals I wonder if Eide joins our football club inside mistrunners.. Or not all Dutch like football?
