Kelarions Journal: Entry 20
The Burning Legion fight hard and well, these are not the usual peon's we were used to fighting. They have sharpened weapons and know how to use them now. It worries me.
I saw Dawndancer go down, they were on him in seconds. His frantic shapeshifts not enough to get the endless hordes of them off him. I tried to intervene I charged and tore and ripped but.....hes gone.
Now only 70 of are left from the original group of 300 which left Mulgore all those years ago. So many lost, and for what?.....i ask myself
My armor is pitted and scratched, my staff is broken, my hopes are fading...I dont think we can hold them off much longer. Another attack like that and we'll surely be lost. Cenarion has forsaken us. Although i try to keep the other Brave's hopes up i dont know how long i can manage, they know what we are fighting for is lost.
On a positive note, a paladin who we found lying bloodied on the plains of Shadowmoon Valley has recovered, his name is Andal. He is gifted in military tactics and is an expert when it comes to caligraphy. He writes many inscriptions on our armor and to our amazement they bolster us greatly.
We must fight out of this Valley...we must get back through the portal. To many have been lost and I cannot take the pain of telling the Heroes mothers that their sons and daughters have fallen.
I feel though, there are still many battles to be fought before we can fight our way through to the portal again. I have sent my fastest runner out to find help and bring us reinforcements to break this siege.
Here i go again....another attack must...g.....
