Hello Mistrunners ! I'm a 31 year old swede that is considering a server transfer back to Defias brotherhood (although somewhat reluctantly since I have RL friends on my current server) But after a long break from WoW, and just starting playing again. I realized how much I miss being on an RP server. Normal ones are just...Meh. I used to be in the "Dwarven Rifle Squad" way back over a year ago, and have many fond memories from there. But I have a hankering for horde lately, so I thought I might see if the grass is greener (and more edible) on the other side. I really like themed guilds like DRS, and yours. So I thought I'd pop by and see if I could make more friends here. I have many years of experience regarding roleplaying, both tabletop and online since the days of UO. But I will confess to being much more casual about it in my later years in favor of more PvE focus. I no longer find MMO's to be such an awesome medium for roleplaying as I once did. I am of course always IC when required (and sometimes even when not) and keep my chat free of lol's and 's But I tend not to get involved in long lore-heavy storylines like I used to. So I wonder how "hardcore" you guys are about your RP and if the tribe would be a suitable one for me ? Safe travels ! Anders

Hejsan Anders! Thanks for stopping by our little forum here. It's always nice to see new faces around. Now, I'm not great at speeches, and I am also not much of a salesman, so I am not going to try and sell my soul to bring you here, although I hope you would consider setting up camp with us at some point. I could very well see you fit nicely into the gang. And besides, we need more ol...erm, mature and experienced people like myself We are, as you may know, a really old Tauren-only guild that started out on the first day in the life of the Defias realm. Ahh, the memories! So, we're been around, you could say. I wouldn't say that we are hardcore-hardcore (or even just hardcore) RP-wise, but we do have firm general guidelines as to how we expect a Mistrunner to behave in public. We don't go on insane rampages every other day, because some elf killed our mothers I'd say we enjoy casual roleplay but we don't have events planned every other day. It's more up to each tribe member to find RP on a daily basis, when we don't have events planned. We do always meet up on sundays around the lovely tribal fire at our camp for an hour or two though. Either that, or we go on exploring trips to some place. So, in my personal opinion, we're a friendly, laid back group of people who enjoy playing together, which is also probably why the tribe has been around for more than four years now. If you want, you are more than welcome to come "hang out" with us in our OOC ingame channel called /mistrunner, and see if we are something for you. Or if you have specific questions, explore this forum, make another post here, or get in touch with Kugar, Aroh, Bonkhron or Chieftain Grail ingame. Hope to see you there! /Kugar Elder

I'd say that our RP style is quite casual in terms of not having long and heavy storylines you mentioned. Mistrunners are probably nice for you if you want to have RP fun sometimes without having to RP several hours every day.

That sounds excellent ! I'm in the process of transfering one of my major alts over to check out the scene. I will likely show up as "Ompah" in your OOC chat sometime soon

A little update. You guys are a great bunch, and I have really enjoyed the tribe sofar.
I just want to be clear however, that I have not yet finalized my decision to transfer. I had intended to do so today. But decided to delay it further, since it does involve a (for me atleast) sizeable chunk of money.
I also want it to be known, that I am looking into other opportunities if I should choose to go through with it at a later time.
Earthmothers blessings upon you. - Anders aka. Ompah
