Hello All. I am Thain, I have come from a US server called 'The Venture Co', with a 27,000 population similar to Defias. There are two reasons I am here. Firstly I could not make the meetings and raids of my previous guild, so I have come to EU realms to make it more similar to my time zone. The guild I have come from is know as The Thunderhoof Clan. It is THE Tauren clan on World of Warcraft, with over 200 Tauren members and growing. If this guild is now unactive I understand you all have lives to concentrate on but even if you can spend an hour a couple of evenings a week I think you could rebuild. To bring this guild up is my second reason If you can, look at this... www.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=223320&TabID=1882232or this... www.metacafe.com/watch/6133077/the_herd/It looks like you almost started something great and it's amazing that two clans with the same ideas can co exist in parallel realms. I know some of you have moved on but with my help and possibly some of the herd, you could become the second most respected Tauren guild around. Give it some thought...

Spooky. I discussed about tauren RP just yesterday... This guild has been around on Defias Brotherhood since...I don't know, almost from the very beginning of this realm? I wasn't here from the start, but still joined sometime back in 2006. The guild had an active and pleased crowd of moos (Though admittedly not something as impressive as 200 members, IIRC.) so we actually *did* already start something great, it was just a while ago. I believe it was around the release of WoTLK or sometime before that when the guild slowly began to die out. Assumedly because of people's interest turning towards easier PVE and other aspects of WoW, not to mention things outside WoW. If something, I guess I'm glad that the guild didn't fall apart because of dramallamas. Several members have discussed about rebuilding the tribe ever since, as well as some other players on Defias. So far, there has been maybe 3-4 tauren guilds (Which I know of...) appearing and then disappearing. Personally I haven't taken part in any of those, even if I enjoyed my time RPing a tauren in The Mistrunners immensely. I'm afraid that at least for me, the tauren-era of RP ended together with my membership. But I can't speak for others, of course. Some might like the idea of reviving this guild, although there's also some other options, like seeing if the latest tauren guild, Shuhalo Mesa Circle, can grow-out active. Here's their thread on realm forums.

Yes, I do understand that you were once rather big. I may have some issues regarding membership as my life is busy and I will eventually switch to EU membership comepletly but when I do I can let you know.

I'm afraid that the reason behind the end of Mistrunners was most core members growing up and not playing games as much as they used to. And seems it was the people who gathered in the guild rather than the RP itself that united us.
In any case, I am limited to single player games now as I always need the pause button to be ready.

Seems like Thaine disappeared again. Should you return and want to have a talk, poke Kugar in-game or leave a note in the mailbox.
