After completing Red Dead Redemptiion, I'm kinda stuck for things to play. That was a terrific game, though I can't bring myself to turn the Xbox on again now.
I'll end up just playing WoW until Autumn, when we get things like Halo: Reach, CoD:Black Ops, amongst other games which I've forgotten about. Nothing out right now really tickles my fancy.
Though, saying that, I DO fancy finding and downloading all 3 Warcraft games again before Cataclysm. I'll can get them on the Battle.net site, right?

I got the Red Dead Redemption Limited Edition on release day and all I did so far was ride around randomly for an hour, hopelessly trying to figure out the controls

I still have RDR on hold. 'ts a wonderful game, but it didn't manage to grip my concentration that well. Unlike Starcraft 2... Though, saying that, I DO fancy finding and downloading all 3 Warcraft games again before Cataclysm. I'll can get them on the Battle.net site, right? Warcraft 3 and it's expansion Frozen Throne you can buy as digital copies from Battle.net, but the first two are a bit too old. The 2nd one can probably still be found from webstores and even from certain stores, from beneath all the other cheap games, but finding the first one might be tricky.

Warcraft 1 was a funny game, I remember you couldn't select more than one unit at a time there and any building you built had to touch another building of yours.

Warcraft 1 was a funny game, I remember you couldn't select more than one unit at a time there and any building you built had to touch another building of yours. Oooh yes. I think I tried it last year for the second time, after playing it on it's release year or around that time. Even the nostalgia feel to it really didn't manage to make the experience that enjoyable anymore... Warcraft 2 ain't that bad, though. Of course WC3 wipes the floor with it as well, but it's at least playable without that much frustration. Story-wise, though, you can safely just start from Warcraft 3, if you ask me. The first two really didn't shine that much with their single-player plotz.

Ayee, true. I know all the lore nigh on perfectly (I think...) from WC3 onwards, however, and I wanted to delve deeper into the "older" WoW lore!
Though now that you've said it, I suppose you're right. I'll get myself WC3, and if I can, WC2 for those moments when I'm SUPER bored.
Though I hope it's not TOO outdated (WC2, I mean); I downloaded and tried to replay the Deus Ex games, but simply couldn't due to them being...well...too bloody old compared to games like Mass Effect 2, etc >_>

Alright, actually, since it's my best friend's birthday, I decided to buy him Starcraft I + the expansion. Then I got it for myself, seeing as neither of us has played the original and want to play that before we get SC2. It then dawned on me that he has the WC games, so I'll just get them from him!
Win/win situation.

I have been invited to a 21 day trial of EVE Online. A space mmo of sorts. Very advanced stuff but it could be quite enjoyable in the long run.

Yah, I've heard good things about EVE. But with WoW currently on play, it seems to be a bit too 'needful' for my taste. In other words, needs a bit too much to work to get into. But I might give the trial a go some day.
And talking about invites, I got lucky. Screenshot contest on a fansite awarded me a beta key for Cata.

I played EVE online for a couple of months recently, but cancelled my subscription just yesterday. It is still running until 22 August though.
At first it seemed a nice game, the technological system is very deep and sophisticated, but in the end everything becomes repetitive fast - unless you like pvp (I haven't tried pvp at all so I don't know). I'd say graphical representation is not very good - yes, space is shown beautifully, but soon all those stars and planets start looking all the same, and all the missions are the same, and you don't even ever see your character - only the ship... There is a really huge world to explore, but at some point I felt like the world may be huge, but still looks and feels the same in all parts of it.
Still, I can join you for some fun there, Kugar. My char's name is Juan Valderrama

How's everyone? So silent here on forums, I also logged in a couple of times but hardly anyone familiar in our channel. I'm deep in civilization (4) these days, and waiting for civ 5 release. And yes, I passed all SC2 on veteran level, played a bit of multiplayer (where I always lose), and then it got boring. I'd love to see the next solo campaign.

I'd love to see the next solo campaign. Join the club. Haven't played the game for a while now, with my leg borking up causing a pause to playing (Not just to SC2, though...). Zerg campaign would definetly be enough motivation to play it moar. Let's just hope it won't take that long... Though since the "official" release date for Cataclysm seems to be around November, that'll most likely give more than enough to do 'till more Starcrafting. But right at this moment, I'm playing Ratchet and Clank on PS3! Wonderfully funny game~

I've discovered that the game Uncharted Waters online, based on my all-time favourite ancient series of early 1990s, has been translated into English (used to be Japanese only since 2004 or so). Playing it for a couple of days already (it is free to play), and so far I am liking it a lot.
